Sorry for the lack of updates but this is the down time of college sports until Football season gets going.
Here is an update on where the Cougars taken in this year's MLB draft have ended up as the Minor League seasons get underway.
-Paul Gran, selected by the Florida Marlins is playing for the Jamestown Jammers of the New York Penn League. He is hitting .273 with 2 RBI's in the first 3 games of the season.

-Jim Murphy, selected by the Philadelphia Phillies is playing in the Rookie Gulf Coast League located in Florida. He is hitting .286 through 2 games.

-Jayson Miller, selected by the LA Angels is playing for the Orem Owls of the Rookie Pioneer League in Utah. He has pitched 5 innings giving up 1 earned run while striking out 8.
