According to Vince Grippi's article in the Spokesman Review, Senior Mike Graise has been dismissed from the Cougar football team. A violation of team rules and missing practice seems to be the reason why. While Graise was not a main player on the defense he did have experience that helped a already thin defensive line.

From the San Francisco Chronicle, another article about a highly favored team not taking the Cougars lightly. This is a pretty big game for Stanford. I expect them to come out pretty fired up in this one.
