From Bud Withers of the Seattle Times, "Marcus Capers of Winterhaven, Fla., a 6-foot-4 guard, says he heard this message on his cellphone from Bennett: "Hey, Marcus, I haven't talked to you in a while. I just wanted to let you know I'm not taking the Indiana job, and I'll be there [at WSU] next year." We have heard it numerous times now, that Bennett is staying in Pullman but it is nice to hear that he took the time to call his recruits and let them know what was going on. If you listened to the media Bennett would already be coaching at WSU, Indiana, LSU, Marquette and Cal, and that is only since the Cougar season ended. Get used to it Coug fans because it is going to be like this every season.
