Ouch

We all knew this season was going to be a rough one, but I don't think anyone expected 66-3 rough. Cal overpowered the Cougs in every aspect of the game including coaching. WSU came out looking confused and ill prepapred for this game. Before fans could pull out their flasks and fill up their Coke's it was 14-0. Just a miserable day all around.

Bud Withers of the Seattle Times. Looks like WSU now has a QB controversy after Gary Rogers has shown nothing in his two games as the starter.

From the Tacoma News Tribune, this quote from Wulff really bugs me. "“It was nothing we did scheme-wise,” Really coach? You think getting beat down 66-3 had nothing to do with the schemes you were trying to use? How about the fact that players looked lost lining up on both sides of the ball and all of the costly penalties. That is coaching. I have noticed already that Wulff likes to call out his players, which is fine because they have not been executing. However, you can't just blame everything on them. That is how a team gives up on you completely. If that happens things will go downhill in a hurry. I hope this staff knows what they got into with the Pac-10, because so far we look like Eastern Washington.
