Ted Miller of ESPN gave a little bit of praise to the WSU secondary yesterday, stating that they were second in the Pac-10 in pass defense. Well today, he comments that WSU has a good pass defense because everyone just runs on us as we rank dead last in the USA in rush defense. Yep, dead last at 330 yards per game, 8 yards per carry and 5 rushings TD's per game! Horrible. The worst part of all this is we haven't faced that great of competition yet. This is going to be a long season.
Also, the State of Washington is so bad at football right now that ESPN has just combined WSU and UW as the 3rd worst teams in the country. Makes sense I guess, Apple Cup should be fun.
