Jim Moore interviewed former Cougar Coach and radio color man Jim Walden this week and came out with this message from Walden, "They've got a chance against the Huskies, that's about it," said Walden, who also gave the Cougars a "halfway-decent" chance against Stanford and Oregon State. "I'm not trying to be a pessimist, I'm just trying to tell ya."
It is a bit surprising to hear Walden say that but he has seen a lot of football in his day. So he knows what he is talking about. Walden also had this to say regarding Paul Wulff taking the head coaching job, "I told him, Part of me wants you to have the job, but part of me is saying, God, don't let him have it, because it's really the (bleeps) down there."
